I dont understand why some guys at the age of 22 can be so childish. its like their mind stopped growing after 12. seriously, i didnt want to get angry but i am frustrated over the fact that i dont think i can communicate with such a guy anymore. My god, he is behaving worse than my brother.

Anyway, today i was having a conversation with Jiening and Xinyi. and i realised that facebook is an ultimate tool for an invasion of privacy. You can literally stalk a person's life on facebook as long as the person is your 'friend'. and there are many things i prefer to hide from certain people, especially my family. Recently, I deleted my mother as my friend after the saga on my birthday because i have a feeling she is stalking me on facebook. BUT, less than 10minutes later, i see a facebook friend request glaring at me from her. HOW FAST IS THAT LAH?! and then not too long later, my father also sent me a friend request. now, both my parents want to stalk me. this is scary. I should delete my account soon.

Halloween @ Night Safari was a success!! Okay, at least I hope it was. I don't think it was particularly exciting in the end but I hope most people still enjoyed it. And considering the fact that the whole night went on quite smoothly, I think it is still largely a success!

2 events down! I don't remember blogging about Mid-Autumn Festival but as the first event of the year, it was a resounding success thanks to the kong ming lanterns that everyone got so excited and intrigued about. Even though it came with alot of risks, im glad that in the end its all worth well. So next up is Christmas and I have no idea what to do about it.

Next semester is a killer semester... seriously. 3 events before exams, 1 Hall Olympiad Opening in the middle of the sem, modules that are thrice as heavy as this semester's. I think I am D-E-A-D. Pardon the emo me next sem.

I havent been blogging, but I feel that I should blog abit about my birthday. Afterall, it is a event that deserves to be remembered :)

Started with Kyunin celebration. Joint birthday celebration with Sam.
We had supper at Chomp Chomp and ordered the 'normal set'; hokkien mee, satay, carrot cake, sting ray and sugar cane. After the fulfilling meal, we had a sleepover at Jiening's house.
Birthday cake: Mango cheese cake
Presents!: my very portable water bottle(love it!!), a very interesting pencil holder(ok la gd stress reliever), and a very meaningful hand-made calender(i was seriously very touched to receive it).

Next, celebration with JCRC. They surprised me just moments after I turned 20. One of the loudest birthday song ever sang to me. Seriously felt very warm and happy. For once, I feel genuinely happy to be part of them. But IT all started on that fateful celebration too. Content too explicit.
Birthday cake: Some chocolate cake
Presents: Lots of IT.

Right after JCRC, the softball girls celebrated for me. By now, I think everyone quite sian already. 3 birthdays celebration in 10 days. But still, we had a small celebration in our small little world. Really glad to be able to spend this semester closely and meaningfully with them. It really is sad that after this semester, people will leave and everything wont be the same anymore.
Birthday cake: Some chocolate cake again
Presents: A water bottle use for training, and Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol(!)

The next day, massive combined celebration with Azula, FOC Main Comm and Block 71 08/09. So touched like almost everyone came down even though I am not close to all of them. First time so many people celebrated for me at the same time. Lots of IT again. I think next year I really must disappear from hall otherwise the sabo-ing will just get worse and worse.
Birthday cake: Mango cake again
Presents: Disney mickey mouse bedsheet, a pretty birthday cake and a very funny but thoughtful All-in-One voucher.

The next one is coming soon! By my parents at some hotel buffet!! woo~~ so looking forward. :) I was thinking about it for sometime but I got it without even asking!

woohoo~ drove to school for the first time today. very fun! finally can go over 100 km/h even though i think i scared my parents since im only so far a qualified driver for a day. so fun!
i think i prefer driving a japanese car to a continental car. continental cars are for people with long legs! but both cars my parents own are continental, so have to get used to stretching my legs. now i cannot wait for the weekend so i can drive again! haha!

Hell week finally coming to an end. My schedule for this week is really very scary. There are so many things going on that I ran out of space to write them down on my schedule. Every night it is just so busy, by the time I return to my room it is past 12 and after settling some business it is 3 plus am and by the time I fall asleep, it is 4am. Surviving on 3-4 hours of sleep each day is seriously damn shagged.

Hall XV Dinner and Dance
Personally, I prefer this year's DnD to last year. It is less DnD feeling and more casual but I prefer it this year. I do not really like the venue though. It was on a ship and I felt giddy once it started to bob up and down. Also, the place was very cramped and the food is not worth my $45. However, in the lucky draw, I won FIRST PRIZE!!! It is a HP Mini so the trip to DnD is really worth it this time.

Hall XV AGM and Investiture
AGM really very boring lah. Had to wait for 17 people to finish their annual reports. And investiture was kind of lame. Just went up stage and exchanged gifts with our predecessors in front of 30 people. Abit pointless.

The very physically draining day
Together with a group of seniors and a few freshies, I went down to play Inter Block Games Netball for my block. Played 2 games out of 3. I enjoy netball alot even though I may not be good in it. And I keep breaking the rules. The rules in netball is stupid seriously. You get beeped at anything and everything. Then after netball, we had to go for softball training which was rather tiring too with the throwing, batting and drills. And since we started late at around 930pm, we ended late too at 1230am. Then after that, I cannot even rest because I had to go for a meeting. Seriously, I will remember this day as the most tiring day out of the most tiring week.

JCRC Subcommittee Recruitment
The day when I have to choose my subcommers. My portfolio has only 20 slots but we have over 50 applicants. Imagine interviewing 50 plus people in one night. Very sian to repeat the same thing over and over again. In the end, I hope we made the right decisions and chose the right people. The weird thing is, my subcommers are only made up of Year 3s and Year 1s. None of the Year 2s are interested. Hahaha. I guess the Year 2s this year are more into going for bigger positions like Main Committees. Hopefully the freshies this year is good. Otherwise, my partner and me will DIE.

Birthday parties, gathering, outings
Lala's 21st birthday party in hall was on a friday night so I had to stay back on a friday night. But it was fun nonetheless with the FOC Main Committee people. Although we are sort of in our own world and just ignored everyone else, we had alot of fun bbq-ing, singing, talking cock. In the end, we talked cock all the way till 330am, slept at 5am, woke up at 930am. Quickly went for breakfast, see a doctor then met Liu Ying for JUMP.
JUMP was pretty entertaining, the martial arts was good the humour is ingenious. But it was pretty short though, about an hour and a half long. I was guilty of falling asleep at the very last part where they were showing off their martial arts skills because the medicine effect suddenly took over me. But at least I did not miss the most enjoyable parts of the show. It is a great show, but not great enough for me to want to watch it again.
After JUMP, I returned home and fell asleep until I woke up in horror when I realised I was almost 30 mins late to meet Rachel Chin. She was supposed to give me a lift to Holland V for our class outing. But she was really nice to have waited so long and called me so many times. When I finally called her back, she even turned her car around to pick me up. Damn nice lah. We went to Crystal Jade for steamboat and Xiao Long Bao Buffet. It was pretty worth it. The steamboat was good and the Xiao Long Bao rocks too. I am eating alot these days but I dont really care. I need food to sustain my energy otherwise I will just collapse from all the work and events happening these days.

Okay, finally recorded everything down. I hope that is everything. Need to blog about almost everything so that I will never forget them and traces of my most memorable year in hall will be never be erased(unless of course blogger crashed).
